Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

SoulSyn is operated by ANITELLE E BENEVIDES TECNOLOGIA E CONTEÚDO DIGITAL LTDA, a Brazilian limited liability company registered under CNPJ 64.628.516/0001-68, hereinafter "SoulSyn", "we" or "us". Use of the service implies acceptance of these Terms and the Privacy Policy. We reserve the right to update this document; material changes will be communicated by email or in-app banner, and continued use after notification represents agreement with the new version.

2. Service Description

SoulSyn is a self-knowledge platform that uses traditional astrology and elements of analytical psychology (Jungian analysis) to generate personalized content based on birth data provided by the user. We offer natal charts, personal cycle readings, personalized dialogue and self-development tracking tools.

3. Account Registration

• You must be at least 16 years old to use the service. Users under 16 require specific consent from parents or legal guardians.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you provide, especially date, time and place of birth — imprecise information affects the quality of personalization.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity carried out under your account.
• When creating a chart for a third party, you represent that you have that person's consent to process their birth data.

4. Plans and Payments

We offer free and premium plans. Payments are processed by our partners Stripe (credit card) and Mercado Pago (PIX, in Brazil). We do not store full card details on our servers. Subscriptions renew automatically according to the chosen cycle and can be canceled at any time within the app, in Account → Subscription.

• Right of withdrawal: where required by local law (e.g., 14 days in the EU under the Consumer Rights Directive, 7 days in Brazil under CDC Art. 49), you may cancel and request a refund of the first subscription charge, provided you have not consumed premium credits.
• One-off purchases (individual charts) are deemed consumable digital content: withdrawal applies only until generation/delivery begins.
• Canceling a subscription stops automatic renewal; access continues until the end of the already-paid cycle.

5. Permitted Use

You may not:

• Scrape, automate, or reverse-engineer the service to collect data.
• Resell, sublicense, distribute or publicly display generated content, except for personal non-commercial use.
• Use SoulSyn to generate content for third parties without their informed consent regarding the use of their birth data.
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or unauthorized areas of the service.
• Use the service for any illegal, fraudulent, offensive purpose or one that infringes third-party rights.

6. Intellectual Property

The entire system — code, design, brand, logos, flows and institutional text — is owned by or licensed to SoulSyn. Personalized content generated for your chart is licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use. You retain all rights to information you enter (notes, dialogue annotations, profile pictures).

7. Disclaimers

SoulSyn does not guarantee diagnoses, factual predictions or specific outcomes. The astrological and symbolic content is interpretive in nature and seeks to stimulate reflection, not provide professional advice. You take full responsibility for decisions made based on use of the service.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SoulSyn is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, lost profits, loss of data, personal or professional decisions taken based on content, or temporary failures of the service or third-party providers (payment processors, hosting, OAuth login). Nothing in this clause limits liabilities that cannot be excluded by law (for example, damages arising from willful misconduct or gross negligence).

9. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, without prior notice in cases of severe breach, fraud or risk to other users. You may close your account at any time — see the Data Deletion page.

10. Changes to the Terms

Material updates will be communicated by email and/or in-app banner, with at least 15 days' notice when there is a significant change in billing or service scope. Minor editorial corrections may be made without notice.

11. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. The courts of the home jurisdiction of the operator (ANITELLE E BENEVIDES TECNOLOGIA E CONTEÚDO DIGITAL LTDA, CNPJ 64.628.516/0001-68) shall settle any disputes, except where consumer protection laws grant the consumer the right to bring proceedings in their own jurisdiction. Users resident in the European Union retain the applicability of the law of their country of residence as required by the GDPR.
